If you stick around after the ending credits of Iron Man 2, you'll get a surprise that expands the Marvel movie universe, just like with the first movie. There are mountains off in the distance. The car swerves and roars towards the camera, and we see its New Mexico license plate: 8RE 2Z1. "Sir," he says, "We've found it." The camera pans back to show what's in the crater — Thor's hammer, looking much like it does in the comics.

Marvel has provided a sneak peek at its Free Comic Book Day edition of “Iron Man/Thor,” starring the two characters next appearing as Marvel movie headliners.


ith Iron Man 2 set to kick off the summer movie season on May 7 and rule the box office with an iron fist, EW gathered together several of the movie’s key players — including stars Robert Downey Jr., I like that better than being the captain of the football team. They had me in Lycra in the beginning but it just wasn’t sexy enough.”I’m doing the same garbage this time.”


The actress reprised her role as Pepper Potts in the second film in the franchise, and loved working on it. She admits it wasn’t the most challenging thing she has ever starred in, but says it was hugely enjoyable to reunite with Robert Downey Jr., who plays the titular character.

Gwyneth has now said she would love to keep appearing in the films, but hopes Pepper’s part will get more exciting in the future.
“Maybe that can happen in the next one - if it happens. I'd love to be Iron Lady and fly around with Robert.”
“For this one I get some action which I didn't get to do in the first one,” she explained.
